Michelle Barna

Michelle is a gadget lover with a bad beta user habit. As the Social Media Communications Director at Deep Focus, she is responsible for leading the team focused on social engagement, social strategy, community interaction, blogger and influencer outreach. Michelle is also an Adjunct Professor at New York University, where she teaches Social Media for Brand Value.

Prior to dedicating her life to social media, Michelle worked in public relations, where she focused on consumer technology (told you she liked gadgets!). Michelle also happens to fall in the category of people who truly enjoys public speaking, which she assumes is about 1% of the population. She has led workshops at organizations such as the United Nations and companies such as Johnson & Johnson.

Michelle holds a degree from the University of Miami, where she studied Communications, Psychology, Marketing and Art History.
