Social scheduling service Buffer rolled out an updated iOS app today, giving its users easier ways to share to social networks from Apple’s mobile devices.

Buffer’s updated app for the first time offers full iPad access to the Buffer dashboard, the company said. It also takes advantage of native sharing capabilities of iOS 8, enabling people to add to their Buffer queue while browsing in Safari or other apps that have the iOS sharing feature activated. (You can add the Buffer button in Safari by tapping the Share button, swiping to find the More button and selecting the Buffer icon.)

Here’s how it looks:

Also new with this update, the ability to send native retweets via Buffer from other apps — Tweetbot, for instance — without leaving the original app, giving mobile users similar functionality they have using browser extensions on the desktop.

In its blog post today, Buffer said it is working on an Android app update that will come after Android’s upcoming OS update.

You can download the IOS update from the app store.
