    Great article – and I agree that QR codes are currently getting a bad rap. Perhaps they will get more exposure in the future and people will warm to them a bit more.

    I also agree with your point about tracking engagement at events by using a hashtag – this works incredibly well in the SEO industry from my experience, but there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be used for any industry events.

    I would add to this that brands can make real connections with influencers by setting up offline events and inviting them along, encouraging them to share their experience online via social or by blogging about it.     I agree with you Andy, any business that has its online and offline presence interconnected records high success that its counterparts. Offline linking increases the traffic, build loyal readers and improves conversion.
