Here’s a quickie but goodie… though it’s a scary quickie and goodie, so be warned.

Director Mike Flanagan, whose “Oculus” did well at the Toronto International Film Festival and garnered buzz at SXSW last year, is out with a new horror flick.

This one stars Kate Bosworth and Thomas Jane as the foster parents of Cody — played by Jacob Tremblay — a young boy whose dreams and nightmares become physically real while he’s experiencing them in his sleep. Annabeth Gish plays the case worker assigned to Cody.

As part of the film’s promotional campaign, the movie’s producers worked with Twitter to place the movie’s trailer within a Promoted Video and release it there exclusively. They’re also delivering creepy, customized responses to those who tweet, retweet or use the campaign hashtag #BeforeIWake.
