    A quick read of HubSpot’s S1 calls into question the whole “movement” (as HubSpot calls it) of inbound marketing. Hubspot spent 70% of its revenue on “sales and marketing” in the first 6 months of this year. And since sales people are only order takers in the inbound model, that means they spent a ton on other marketing activities. The amount they had to spend to achieve the growth they’ve achieved is unsustainable.
    Jim Jones started a movement too. And look where that got his investors.
