LinkedIn Opens Up Ad Interface With New API Program

LinkedIn advertisers will no longer be forced to use the self-service ad platform thanks to new LinkedIn Ads API. With the new API, partners like Adobe, Bizo and Unified can leverage the LinkedIn Ad tools to supplement their social offerings.

The new API will allow developers to build their own custom tools and solutions to help get the most of out LinkedIn Ads. With the large variety of targeting variables, this is a long time coming to heavy LinkedIn advertisers. The new API will make the ad testing processes automated and much more manageable.

LinkedIn also gave the following statement about the API:

We’re also making premium support available for our approved developers who will have access to LinkedIn’s online operations and sales team, developer marketing programs, as well as a direct line of communication with our product management team.

For more see all of LinkedIn’s Partner Programs, or for API access, simply email the sales team.

Just to let you know, the hyperlink to email the LinkedIn team is broken – typo on the ‘mailto:’ operator as it currently reads “malto:”
