I really think that the Nexus 4 will do very well outside US. Where we live, (Sri Lanka, a tiny island off India) we don’t have contracts on our mobiles. So we buy our handsets separate from our connections. At $299, the majority of smart phone users here are looking forward to Nexus 4. I’ve already arranged for pre-ordering the phone as is many of my friends.

As you suggested, LTE is not a huge deal for us. I already have a LTE ready phone which does no good. So globally, Nexus 4 is going to set a trend. I strongly believe Google has a winner in their hands. So all the best to them with the Nexus 4.

I really wanna buy this phone but losing lte is begging to be a deal breaker with me. I’m coming from a GS2 Skyrocket so going down to 3g just plane sucks. Think I’m gonna have to go to the much more expensive GS3.
