You may not have noticed, but things are changing substantially in the local search space. Google has made several moves this year that have some local search watchers talking about visibility becoming more of a pay-to-play scenario. Meanwhile, voice search continues to grow — Google announced earlier this year that about 20 percent of searches on Android are done using voice. And very recently, Google announced plans to expand its “Posts” platform to significantly more small and local businesses.

Those are some of the topics discussed on episode #26 of Marketing Land Live, which runs just under 45 minutes. For this show, I was joined by the four local search experts who’ll be on my “Local Search Roundtable” session at SMX East on September 27: Adam Dorfman, Dan Leibson, Conrad Saam and Chris Silver Smith.
