    Certainly a fair point, however, actual viewability of a given ad unit can vary greatly based on a wide variety of both user- and site-specific factors. For simplicity’s sake, we just looked at aggregate trends here and limited the variables involved.

    However, we have dug deeper on this issue in the past, and found that similarly positioned ad units can perform very
    differently depending on the site type:
