Twitter Deals Out In-Depth Analytics For Twitter Cards

Over the next few days some significant marketing enhancements will be arriving on your Twitter Cards. Today Twitter announced the official release of  Twitter Card analytics that will be available to all cards users. The goal of this upgrade is to help users gain more insight into the type of media that performs the best on Twitter.

The new improved interface is geared to help uncover valuable insights and features the following main analytical elements:

Snapshots

Impressions-Twitter-Cards

This screen displays a large scale look at overall content performance on Twitter including Tweets that link to a website or app. This includes not only information from your account Tweets, but from all Tweets that have included your Twitter Card infused content.

Change Over Time

Change-Cards

This displays overall account data over time including:

  • Tweets
  • Impressions
  • URL Clicks
  • Percent Increase/Decrease

Card Types

This display is extremely valuable in showcasing the effectiveness of the various Twitter card types. Each card type shows the URL click rate and the overall clicks for each. In addition to your own site stats, Twitter is also including average click-through rates of other sites.

Another feature of Twitter Card analytics is the ability to show segmentation by sources. You can now see the overall clicks from each Twitter client, widget and app.

Other Features

Lastly, Twitter Card analytics includes:

  • Links A ranking of pages that have the most clicks.
  • Influencers A listing of the top accounts that shared your content.
  • Devices Detailed percentages of  users that view Twitter Cards by device.
