As the Senior Integrated Marketing Strategist for Louisville, Kentucky’s Courier-Journal, Christy Belden acts as the newspaper’s in-house digital marketing “guru” and helps lead digital marketing efforts for the paper’s clients.

Within her role, Beldon drives external brand awareness of Courier-Journal Media digital marketing services, while training in-house staff on digital marketing best practices. If that wasn’t enough, Belden also heads up integrated marketing strategies and solutions for Courier-Journal Media clients.

Prior to her role at The Courier Journal, Belden was VP of Media + Marketing at LEAP, a full-service digital agency where she led a team focused on SEO, PPC, social media, display advertising, email marketing, ecommerce marketing and mobile solutions.

In her spare time, Belden serves as an adjunct professor at Spalding University, teaching digital marketing courses. She is an evangelist for digital marketing, regularly writing and speaking on the subject as well as consulting with small businesses and non-profits on their digital marketing and social media efforts.

Belden resides in Louisville, Kentucky with her wonderful husband, two very hyper children, and two dogs.
