Google: Google Home

Google Home is Google’s voice-activated home assistant, a rival to Amazon Echo. Like Echo, it allows people to listen to music, hear news, interact with some home automation devices and answer questions.
Unlike Echo, Google Home can answer complicated questions, because its underlying Google Assistant harvests answers from across the web rather than just from curated sources.
Google Home was announced in May 2016 and began shipping to consumers in early November 2016.
