Online shopping activity was still going strong in the week before Christmas, with conversions up 1.5 times as compared to the baseline pre-holiday period. Meanwhile, traffic is up 2.2 times over the baseline, perhaps indicating that shoppers are still looking for the best deals, the ideal gifts, or just seeking out a retailer that can ship in time for a pre-Christmas arrival.

These stats are from Marketing Land’s Online Retail Shopping Report, which is based on data from HookLogic, a company which gathers data on online retail transactions through the advertising network it runs, allowing brands to run ads on major retailer websites.
