Top 10 Video Creators In December: BuzzFeed Tasty Reclaims No. 1 Spot With 1B Views
BuzzFeed generated more than 2.16 billion combined video views for the month from its BuzzFeed Tasty, BuzzFeed Video and BuzzFeed Food videos.
After ranking No. 3 in November, video creator BuzzFeed Tasty reclaimed the No. 1 spot on Tubular Lab’s Top Ten list of the most popular video creators for December 2015.
The Ellen Show, which ranked No. 1 in November dropped to No. 4, while Justin Bieber kept his second-place ranking two months in a row.
BuzzFeed Tasty, one of BuzzFeed’s three video channels to make the list, scored one billion video views last month. BuzzFeed Video ranked No. 3 with 671 million video views, and BuzzFeed Food ranked No. 8 with 487 million views. All together, BuzzFeed earned more than 2.16 billion video views during the last month of 2015.
Ranking video views across YouTube, Facebook, Vine & Instagram, the video analytics firm says the top 100 video brands generated a combined 37.5 billion videos views in December, a four percent increase over November’s total views.
Two new video creators to make the top ten included Now This News and AJ+, both news sites.
Top Ten Most Watched Video Creators in December 2015
Along with the most watched video creators overall, Tubular also ranked the global brands earning the most video views for its Top Video Brand “Viewmakers” category.
The biggest jump on this list from November (the first month Tubular ranked global brands), was Clash of Clans moving 18 spots to rank No. 4 in December.
Of all the global brands to make the top ten list, GoPro earned the highest engagement rate at 2.7 percent.
