Vine has updated its Android app with several new video editing features, including the ability for users to import previously recorded clips.

The update, which hit the Google Play store Friday, brings Android users up to speed with users with iOS devices. The iOS app was updated in August.

The new features include:

  • the ability to upload and preview clips of any length from the camera roll and cut them down to the six-second Vine maximum.
  • the ability to load multiple videos and edit them down into a single Vine.
  • Flashlight mode that turns on the camera’s flash.
  • a preview and undo function that allows users to view and delete clips without discarding the full Vine.
