Want To Work At Google? Google+ Profile Integration Now Allows For One-Click Applications

Those looking to work at Google may now want to apply with the aid Google’s social network. On the Google jobs board, users are now prompted to enable Google+. Once enabled users can connect with other Googlers, star and save jobs they like and even apply with just one click.

Google+

Once logged in, connections that work at Google are shown on the right with the ability to quickly add to circles. The connections don’t change with the job, rather look to be powered based on related connections on Google+.

Google+Connections

When a Google+ enabled user finds a job, no lengthy applications are required … just one click:

Google+-Jobs-Apply

This not only shows Google’s commitment to push Google+ and also the flexibility of the overall Google+ “social layer.” Much like personalized search, this is a job prime candidate for matching social info with matching jobs. This social application feature is very similar to LinkedIn’s “Apply With LinkedIn” button, but with the caveat that it is actually outside of the Google+ stream.

Seeing that Google has committed to making Google+ a success, we’d recommend that potential job seekers use this method to apply.

To see this is action, check out the Google Job Board.
