Here’s a crazy bungee jumping stunt to get you going after the three-day Columbus day weekend.

And for those of you not in America: yeah, we know Columbus didn’t really discover America, but we do like our holidays. Or at least the ability to co-opt the holidays and turn them into nice, long, three-day weekends.

Anyway, Brazilian agency Africa Zero put together this Bungie Dunk stunt for Crocantissimo (some kind of barbecue flavored Dorito-like things) which is an official sponsor of  the NBA Global Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Participants were hoisted 158 feet in the air by a crane, affixed to a bungee cord, handed a basketball and told to get the ball in the basket while jumping.

If the willing participants could make the shot — made much easier by the fact the basket was five-times bigger than a normal basketball net — they would win tickets to the NBA Global Games in Rio.

Predictably, the stunt is a collection of freak outs captured by helmet-mounted cameras along with quick cuts of cheerleaders because, as we all know, sexy cheerleaders will amp up anything a marketer does.

The video has amassed over one million views since it debuted earlier this month.
